Bumble Bee Flights raised $37 million from SRAM & MRAM Technologies and Resources Limited

Autonomous air mobility solutions provider Bumble Bee Flights raised $37 million from the UK-based technology conglomerate SRAM & MRAM Technologies and Resources Limited.

Bumble Bee Flights intends to use the new funds to establish an assembly plant in Odisha for the production of air taxis, with the first prototype expected to be launched in April 2023. Bee Flights air taxis would be powered by solar-charged swappable batteries and weigh approximately 300 kg. The startup intends to design and manufacture air taxis while collaborating with operators around the world to service, support, and run the operations.
