Logistics unicorn Delhivery announced that it has gone live on the government’s Open Network For Digital Commerce (ONDC) platform, allowing sellers to leverage the startup’s extensive network of over 18,000 pin codes in India.
Delhivery said in an exchange filing that it is now ready to begin intercity express parcel movement through ONDC after successfully integrating with sellers. The ONDC platform, which went live for beta testing in September of this year, has been dubbed the ecommerce industry’s UPI. According to the ONDC website, players such as IDFC Bank, Kotak, Paytm, Phonepe, Shiprocket, and Dunzo are active on the platform.
