Google introduced India’s DigiLocker integration to Files app to access official documents

Google has announced the addition of India’s online document storage service DigiLocker to the Android Files app, allowing users to access verified government-issued documents from the app.

Google announced its partnership with the Indian government to roll out the DigiLocker integration within the Files app at the annual Google for India conference on Monday. The search engine giant also announced a machine learning-based model that will aid in the identification and organisation of important files such as official documents and government ID cards.
