Blue-collar workforce management startup BetterPlace raised $40 million in Series C from existing investors Jungle Ventures and British International Investment (BII) and a few new investors.

BetterPlace provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables businesses to manage every stage of their blue-collar workforce by offering them services like hiring, background checking, and digital onboarding. BetterPlace plans to use the additional funding to strengthen AI capabilities and upgrade its tech offerings. Additionally, BetterPlace will use the new funds for mergers and acquisitions within the Indian and Southeast Asian markets.
