Ola has announced its entry into the premium EV category with a fleet of 10,000 cars. The company stated that it is in the final stages of launching the new category pilot in the coming weeks.

According to the company, Ola’s new premium fleet will be operated by top-rated drivers and will offer benefits such as 100% ride assurance after cab allocation, zero cancellations, and 100% cashless payments. The EV service will be available as a separate category on the Ola app, alongside regular cabs and autos. Ola would buy cars and lease them to drivers who would be paid a fixed salary as well as variable pay.
