Ashneer Grover requests VCs to steer clear of his ‘Third Unicorn’

Ashneer Grover said in a teaser document for his new company, Third Unicorn, that venture capitalists (VCs) should stay away.

VCs-SheCs, please keep your distance. The document shared by the ex-BharatPe MD on LinkedIn stated, “We use only Desi/Self-earned capital,” implying that the company will only raise funds from Indian investors. However, he also requested that potential investors ‘get in touch with him’ directly in order to join the cap table at Third Unicorn. In addition, despite the fact that Grover launched the company in July 2022, there is still no information available about what the company will do. Third Unicorn Private Limited, on the other hand, has a list of objects, as stated in the company’s documents filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
