Astra Tech, a UAE based technology group acquired BOTIM, the leading VOIP platform in the region, this move will lead to the launch of an ‘Ultra’ app.

The milestone is the latest in a series of acquisitions made by Astra in 2022, including Rizek and Payby. The platforms will integrate into BOTIM to provide a variety of services through a single integration. BOTIM has 90 million active users and 90 million registered users. Additional platform plans are expected to be revealed in the first quarter of 2023. The relaunch, led by Astra Tech founder Abdallah Abu Sheikh, aims to reshape the boundaries of the digital ecosystem in order to combat customer fatigue.
