Tournament organiser The Esports Club (TEC) raised $3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round.
With the fresh capital, reportedly, the startup wants to expand its operations to Middle East and Southeast Asia and “build a state-of-the-art esports platform”.

The Esports Club specialises in gaming marketing services. It has created IPs such as The Arena in collaboration with Comic Con, a consumer gaming convention. TEC Challenger Series and TEC Gauntlet are two long-running esports tournaments launched by the esports startup. The startup also intends to launch new initiatives in various regions and hire local broadcasting talent to strengthen its online presence. It also intends to invest in broadcast facilities and technology to support new market tournaments.
