Twitter to start sharing ad revenue with Blue subscribers: Elon Musk

Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s made a new announcement about the social media app, which will please the Twitter creators. Musk took to Twitter to announce that the microblogging platform will now share ad revenue with creators who have “Twitter Blue Verified” subscriptions. The ads will appear in the reply threads of eligible accounts, with the goal of increasing creator revenue.

“Twitter will begin sharing ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads today. “The account must be a Twitter Blue Verified subscriber to be eligible,” Musk explained. To obtain information about Twitter revenue sharing, the user must be a Twitter Blue Verified subscriber. In December of last year, Twitter updated the list of features for its Blue service, stating that subscribers would receive “prioritised rankings in conversations.”
