CCI to close its probe against Apple’s app store and billing policies

Share via:

Competition watchdog CCI is about to close its probe against Apple’s app store and billing policies.

According to a report, CCI’s investigation into Apple is nearing completion, and the findings are similar to what the regulator discovered in its investigation into tech behemoth Google. It is expected that Apple will be asked to reduce its developer commission fees and offer third-party billing options. The competition regulator will present its report (on Apple’s investigation) to its board, which will then take action.
