UAE to launch hydrogen-powered car fuel station

Share via:

DEWA and ENOC in Dubai have joined forces to develop hydrogen fueling stations for UAE vehicles.

DEWA and ENOC will conduct a joint feasibility study for the establishment, development, and operation of a hydrogen mobility pilot project. Hydrogen powered vehicles are zero-emission vehicles that are powered by hydrogen fuel cells rather than traditional gasoline or battery power. The hydrogen is converted into electricity by the fuel cells, which then powers the vehicle’s electric motor. As a result, the only byproduct produced is water vapour, resulting in a clean and efficient mode of transportation.
