E-mobility startup Vioma Motors raised funds in Pre-Series A with with 10% stake by Colossa Ventures LLP, which focuses on investing in ‘women-first’ businesses.

According to a press release, Vioma Motors is addressing rising fuel prices and climate change by introducing environmentally friendly, best-in-class E-scooters specifically designed to address India’s charging infrastructure problem. The Vioma Motors team intends to accelerate the development and launch of the E2W model. Vioma Motors has created an indigenous smart electric two-wheeler with a range of approximately 400 kilometres on a single charge. This unrivalled range is achieved by developing a battery technology that can generate charge while riding and contribute it back to the main battery pack, providing characteristics superior to commonly usedLithium-ion batteries.
