78% of employers in the MENA region are looking to hire an intern in 2023, according to a survey from job site Bayt.com
The survey revealed a positive perception of interns in the region, with 92% of respondents believing that an internship increases a graduate’s chances of getting a job after college. “Through internships, students gain hands-on experience of the professional world by performing tasks and duties typically performed by employees in the chosen field,” said Ola Haddad, Director of Human Resources at Bayt.com. According to the Bayt.com survey, 65% of MENA companies always offer the intern a full-time job, while 19% occasionally offer a position after the internship is completed.
