Tata 1mg-backed digital diagnostic platform 5C Network acquired India and US-based healthtech startup Krayen for an undisclosed sum.

Krayen employs computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) to assist hospitals and healthcare providers in providing individualised treatment plans. The acquisition of Krayen will allow 5C Network to expand its digital diagnostics offerings. Furthermore, Krayen, the newly acquired company, will offer more advanced diagnostic solutions to healthcare providers and patients. 5C Network operates a cloud-based platform where a panel of radiology experts interprets radiology images and assists hospitals and diagnostic centres in increasing their return on investment from machineries.
