Food aggregator platform Zomato launched its redesigned home-cooked meal service ‘Zomato Everyday’ today.

The home-cooked meal service, formerly known as Zomato Instant, is now available in select areas of Gurugram, with prices starting at INR 89. Last month, the foodtech behemoth revealed plans to revamp its 10-minute food delivery service, Zomato Instant. According to reports, the decision was made due to low daily order volume, inability to scale the segment, and payment of fixed costs. With the launch of Zomato Everyday, it seems like the foodtech aggregator plans to attract a new set of consumers, particularly working professionals, who are living away from their homes, and often look for affordable home-cooked meals.
