UAE announced visa support for all passport and residency issues and fines

The UAE has offered to assist visitors and residents who are experiencing visa issues in the country. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) has set up a pop-up shop in Deira City Centre, inviting anyone with visa issues or problems to come forward.

Officials and staff from will be present at Deira City Centre from February 25 to February 27 and are encouraging people to come forward if they have any issues or questions about their visa status. “Our staff will be there to help people, to let people know what the procedure is if they have overstayed for one day, or overstayed for ten years,” Lieutenant-Colonel Salem bin Ali, Director of the Client Happiness Department at GDRFA, told ARN radio.
