Nigerian shared mobility company Shuttlers raised $4 million in funds round led by Verod-Kepple Africa Ventures (VKAV), a Pan-African focused venture capital firm where VestedWorld SheEquity, CMC 21 & Alsa, and EchoVC also participated.
Shuttlers is an app that allows individual and corporate passengers to ride on multiple bus routes. Shuttlers’ primary business is corporate travel and commuting. In Lagos, Africa’s most populous city, the average professional who commutes to work daily or several times a week — whether by personal car or danfo minibuses and okadas — encounters roads riddled with heavy traffic and dangerous carbon emissions.
