Microsoft brings Bing Chat to Android via SwiftKey and adds AI image generator to Edge

Bing Chat AI has now been added to Microsoft’s SwiftKey keyboard for Android. SwiftKey Beta users will now have access to Bing Chat right at their fingertips. Users can interact with the AI-powered chatbot by simply tapping a button in any Android app.

SwiftKey will now support Bing Chat in both normal chat mode and tone mode, which will rewrite text from within the keyboard. The new SwiftKey update essentially renders the Bing Mobile app obsolete, as users can now access the chatbot from anywhere.

To access the new Bing Chat integration, users will need to download the beta version of SwiftKey on the Google Play Store. As of now, there is no confirmation on when it will come to iOS. However, Pedram Rezaei, Microsoft’s CTO of mobile and commerce, stated that the feature is being phased in.

Microsoft temporarily dropped SwiftKey support on iOS. However, users can still find the app in the App Store. While the iOS version has not been updated, it appears that Microsoft will soon bring its AI-powered tool to compete with similar tools.
