The company has built its proprietary internal infrastructure, codenamed “Ajax,” as the foundation for constructing large language models. In response to the popularity of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, and Meta’s Llama, as rival AI chatbots emerge in the market, the company developed this chatbot service last year.
Apple Unconventional Approach to AI
Apple is known for its unique approach to AI, seldom using the term “artificial intelligence” explicitly. Nevertheless, the company incorporates AI technology across its products, with its widely used voice assistant, Siri, being a prominent example.
