Gushwork.ai, an AI startup providing small and medium businesses (SMBs) with access to on-demand remote workforce, has successfully secured $2.1 million in pre-seed funding led by venture capital firm Lightspeed, with participation from B Capital, Sparrow Capital, Seaborne Capital, and Beenext. The startup intends to utilize the capital to fuel its growth and develop new product features.

Gushwork.ai Revolutionizes Workflow Management for SMBs

Gushwork.ai offers businesses the opportunity to delegate tedious and recurring tasks to its trained administrative teams. Co-founded by Nayrhit Bhattacharya and Adithya Venkatesh, the company incorporated in January of this year and commenced operations in April. Since then, it has amassed over 50 clients spanning across multiple industries.

Gushwork.ai with a Human Touch for Enhanced Trust

Speaking on the company’s approach, Nayrhit Bhattacharya, Co-founder & CEO of Gushwork.ai, stated, “Getting expensive in-house employees to work on recurring, manual tasks or spending months trying to imperfectly automate these processes is really suboptimal. The complexity of these tasks is such that most companies do not trust AI to execute them without human oversight. We want to embed AI in the very core of business operations by bringing in a reliable human touch on top of AI to solve the lack of trust.”

Gushwork.ai Impact on Time and Efficiency

Gushwork.ai’s clients have already delegated more than 200 tedious workflows to the platform, resulting in weekly savings of 1,000 person-hours. The startup predominantly focuses on sales and marketing operations workflows, encompassing tasks like lead prospecting, email marketing, ad management, lead engagement on social media platforms, webinar moderation & marketing, social media management for SMBs, responding to inbound leads, CRM setup, social media analytics data scraping, and more. Furthermore, Gushwork.ai plans to expand into more specialized roles in the future.

Future Plans and Growth Strategies

The startup has ambitious plans for its growth and expansion. It aims to build features that assist businesses in creating and documenting complex processes. These processes will be used as large training datasets to automate intricate workflows. The GPT models will improve their handling of tasks through this automation. Additionally, Gushwork.ai plans to invest the capital in content-led organic marketing and personal branding channels to accelerate its growth further. The company aims to leverage the era of remote work and cross-border cost arbitrage. It plans to establish a unique platform for businesses. The platform will allow them to delegate complex workflows. This delegation will be done to a highly skilled on-demand offshore workforce. This workforce is adept at utilizing AI tools and applications.
