Facebook’s new hook for youngsters, an AI chatbot with multiple personalities

Meta is set to launch a new generative AI chatbot called “Gen AI Personas” targeting young audiences. These chatbots will have different personalities and engage with users in a vibrant manner. The company has already tested similar chatbot personas on Instagram, but these new ones will have productivity skills such as coding assistance. The Wall Street Journal reports that Meta plans to introduce over a dozen different chatbot personas, including a “sassmaster general” and an “overly inquisitive” persona.
