Viju to bring decades of “Technology Investment Analyst” expertise to strengthen the firm

Bangalore, 17 October 2023:Mela Ventures, a Sebi-approved Category- 2 Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) founded by Mindtree co-founders KrishnakumarNatarajan and Parthasarathy NS, today announced the appointment of Viju George, a technology industry veteran in investment analysis, as the full-time partner.

With an illustrious career spanning over a couple of decades, Viju has garnered a reputation for driving strategic financial initiatives within the technology sector. His deep understanding of market trends, financial modeling, and investment analysis has consistently delivered value to clients and stakeholders.

Recently, Viju George served as a Senior Vice President in the Finance team at Mphasis. Prior to this, he has had rich collective experience in areas spanning investment analysis (primary area of professional experience), private equity and financial consulting. He has a rich background in financial & business modelling. He was the technology, telecoms and internet investment analyst at JP Morgan, India in the capacity of Executive Director. Over 2012-17, Viju has been consistently rated as among the best India Technology investment analysts by various investor polls/surveys such as Institutional Investors (Asia) and Institutional Investors (India). He is an alumnus of IIT-Madras and IIM-Calcutta.
