BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is now overseeing this project’s implementation after merging with BBNL (Bharat Broadband Network Limited). To execute this project, union telecom minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the government is investing about $16.1 billion.
