GoStops funding: Hostel startup GoStops raises Rs 35 crore from Blume Ventures, others

Travel hostel startup GoStops has raised Rs 35 crore (about $4.2 million) in a funding round led by homegrown early-stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures.

The round also saw participation by 1Crowd and other existing investors, including Mumbai Angels, Chennai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, and Yuj Ventures.

The funds will be used to increase capacity from 2,500 to 10,000 beds across 100 locations over the next two years, strengthening operations, and upgrading technology.
