Ex-Premji invest, International Finance Corporation trio’s fund bags Rs 1,000 crore

Trident Growth Partners – a private equity firm cofounded by former Premji Invest partners Atul Gupta and Rajesh Ramaiah along with former investor at International Finance Corporation (IFC) Pravan Malhotra – has raised Rs 1,000 crore in the first close of its maiden fund.

The India-focused growth-stage fund is targeting final close at Rs 2,000 crore by the end of 2025.

Manipal group chairman Ranjan Pai’s family office Claypond Capital has anchored the fund with capital infusion from over 30 startup founders including those of Lenskart,…
