Share via:

In order to boost the country’s 5G ecosystem, the Centre has decided that recognised startups and MSMEs can use the indigenous 5G test bed facility for free for the next six months, until January 2023.

Other stakeholders, such as academia, service providers, R&D institutions, government bodies, and equipment manufacturers, will have to pay a small fee to use the country’s 5G test bed, according to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). The Department of Transportation urged all of the aforementioned stakeholders to use the 5G test bed facilities and expertise to develop and deploy their products in the network.
