UAE Food Bank and Amazon partner to donate iftar meals to underprivileged

Amazon announced the launch of “Iftar on Wheels.” A meal donation programme that aims to help the country’s underprivileged. The initiative intends to use its size, logistics, and technology to assist those in need.

Aid will be provided to those in need through monetary donations, volunteer support, and delivery services in collaboration with the UAE Food Bank. “Generosity is an integral part of Emirati culture, and the Holy month of Ramadan is a reminder for us to show kindness and compassion to those less fortunate,” said Manal Obaid Yaroof, Chairperson of the UAE Food Bank Steering Committee, of the partnership.
