Edtech platform PhysicsWallah acquired edtech startup FreeCo. However, it didn’t disclose the financial details of the deal.
PhysicsWallah will be able to strengthen its existing services and improve students’ learning experiences as a result of the acquisition. PhysicsWallah is primarily aimed at students studying for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE. Both teams will collaborate in areas such as content library management, faculty management, and resource utilisation across two startups. PhysicsWallah will also use the experience of the FreeCo team to streamline its current doubt-resolution offerings and to upgrade its existing set of products and services. In addition, the unicorn offers hybrid classes in 22 cities across India, serving 10 lakh students. By 2025, PhysicsWallah hopes to reach more than 250 million students.
