The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a warning about vulnerabilities in Google Chrome that allow hackers to circumvent computer security systems.
“Multiple vulnerabilities in Google Chrome have been reported, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code and bypass security restrictions on the targeted system,” CERT-In stated in a note. It advised users to apply patches as soon as possible to avoid being exploited. The agency basically told users to update their Chrome browsers. The agency rated the vulnerabilities as ‘High,’ implying that a remote attacker could exploit them by sending specially crafted requests to the targeted system.
