Etihad Airways has announced new ‘Chat’ and ‘Surf’ in-flight packages, which provide passengers with access to chat and messaging apps as well as unlimited data throughout the flight.
The packages are divided into two categories: ‘Up to 7 hours flight’ and ‘Over 7 hours flight’, with prices varying accordingly.
The chat package costs $2.99 for flights up to seven hours long. It is a text-only package that gives passengers access to chat and messaging applications. The package costs $4.99 for flights longer than 7 hours. A surf option is also available, which provides passengers with an unlimited data package that can be used for chat, messaging, emails, and other purposes throughout the flight. Flights up to seven hours cost $9.99, and flights longer than seven hours cost $4.99.
