Bharti Airtel is set to launch 5G services in eight Indian cities. Bharti Airtel’s MD and CEO, Gopal Vittal, stated in August that the telecom operator would launch 5G services that month. He went on to say that by March 2024, the company would have reached every town and rural area in India.

According to a PTI report, Sunil Bharti Mittal, chairman of Bharti Airtel, stated, “Bharti Airtel will today begin 5G services in 8 cities across India.” By 2024, the telecom operator will have covered the entire country.” Bharti Airtel entered the content delivery network (CDN) market earlier this month with the launch of Edge CDN. The telecom operator also collaborated with Qwilt, which enables CDN, to use Edge CDN.
