D2C eyewear brand ClearDekho raised $5 million in Series A led by Venture Catalysts and SphitiCap where Dholakia Ventures, NB Ventures, Estrela Ventures, Cornerstone, Boon Capital and FAAD Network also participated.

ClearDekho provides low-income people with eyewear solutions through its website and offline stores across India. It is primarily concerned with Tier II, III, and IV cities. ClearDekho plans to use the new funds for marketing and retail expansion. The startup will use additional funds to strengthen its technology and regional infrastructure in order to deliver eyewear products within four to seven days. According to the report, the Indian eyewear industry’s sales volume is expected to increase to 427.4 million by 2025. This market is expected to grow by 10.55% per year by 2025.
