Saudi Arabia-based healthtech startup Blazma is planning an aggressive expansion plan both within the country and into the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region, fueled by the kingdom’s massive investment plans in healthcare infrastructure and the region’s high potential for digital healthcare segment growth.

The startup, which operates a platform that connects medical testing laboratories, healthcare chains, and patients, also plans to launch a fundraising campaign soon to fund its expansion plans, according to the venture’s top executive. “We intend to expand to cover the MENA region, beginning with the UAE and Egypt,” Abdullah Aljathlani, founder and CEO of Blazma, told Arabian Business.
