An agreement to construct the largest fulfilment centre in the UAE will be built in Abu Dhabi by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and the online marketplace Noon, based in Dubai.

This is expected to support the nation’s ecommerce industry and generate 6,000 jobs. The complex will be constructed at Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi and will cover approximately 252,000 square metres (Kezad). According to The National News, it will debut in 2024. The centre also wants to make it possible for business owners, startups, and small and medium-sized companies to benefit from Noon’s platform. New automation technology for material handling, storage, and sorting will be used at Noon’s fulfilment centre in an effort to hasten the delivery of goods throughout the UAE.
