Elon Musk announces Twitter poll to bring back Donald Trump

Share via:

Twitter CEO Elon Musk launched a Twitter poll asking the Twitterati if they wanted former US President Donald Trump to return to the microblogging platform.

Musk said in May that he would lift Twitter’s ban on Trump, whose account had been suspended following last year’s attack on the US Capitol. However, users’ reactions to Musk’s poll were mixed. As previously announced, Twitter reinstated the accounts of US comedian Kathy Griffin and academic Jordan Peterson. Furthermore, the account of the satirical website Babylon Bee was restored.
