Ola Electric to launch a line of 2 & 4 wheelers

Ola Electric intends to produce 10-12 models of two-wheeler electric vehicles and at least 4-5 models of four-wheeler EVs  in the next few years.

It will also determine the various price points for EV motorcycles. According to Business Standard, Ola Electric’s top executive stated that the company’s first EV car will be priced at INR 40 Lakh, with additional EV products priced at INR 5 Lakh. “We will have electric vehicles ranging in price from INR 1 lakh to INR 40 lakh, covering every range and form,” said Ola’s executive. According to a company spokesperson, the startup has decided to quadruple the capacity of its manufacturing plant, increasing annual production of two-wheelers from 1 million to 4 million.
