Consumer nutrition platform HealthKart raised $135 million in funds led by Temasek where A91 Partners and Kae Capital also participated.
According to a press release, the new capital will be used to grow in-house D2C brands, increase offline distribution, expand international operations, and make select acquisitions. MuscleBlaze, The Protein Zone, TrueBasics, HKVitals, bGreen, Nouriza, and Gritzo are among the eight nutritional brands owned and manufactured by Healthkart. Aside from its own platform, the company sells its products via D2C websites, offline grocers, chemists, e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, and over 140 HealthKart offline stores.
