BNPL platform Lipa Later announced the acquisition of Sky.Garden, a SaaS E-commerce platform based in Kenya.
SkyGarden is a product marketplace for electronics, home goods, and other items. Lipa Later will be able to fully manage the firm’s operations in Kenya as a result of the acquisition, allowing customers to buy goods and services from a diverse range of sellers electronically. Lipa Later will roll out credit offerings for small-scale retailers using the platform, and consumers will be able to purchase items from the platform using their preferred payment method, including Lipa Later’s BNPL. Lipa Later will offer Sky.Garden customers a buy now, pay later model with monthly instalments that is flexible and affordable.
