DHA to focus on healthcare startups and tech companies this year

Healthcare startups and technology companies are major areas of focus for the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) this year.

Senior DHA officials told Khaleej Times on the sidelines of Arab Health 2023 in Dubai that the emirate’s investment-friendly ecosystem encourages international healthcare startups to call Dubai home. Dr. Ibtesam Al Bastaki, Director of Investments and PPP (Public Private Partnership) at the DHA, stated that Dubai’s strategic location, future outlook, diverse and growing population, influx of medical tourists, and support and guidance provided to investors are just a few of the factors that make the emirate a desirable investment destination.
