DEWA will incorporate ChatGPT technology into its services, a first for a utility company.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer announced that DEWA is working to enhance its services with ChatGPT technology supported by Microsoft. DEWA will be the first utility in the world and the first UAE government entity to use this new technology. This is part of DEWA’s ongoing efforts to promote its leadership on a local and global scale. Saeed Al Tayer made the announcement while meeting with Microsoft’s UAE general manager, Naim Yazbeck. The move underscores DEWA’s pioneering successes in all digital areas and continues its use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which began in 2017 with the development of an AI roadmap.
