Dubai flying taxis are scheduled to take off in 2026, with designs for the vertiports already approved.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has approved station models for the RTA’s aerial taxi ports. Following his visit to the World Government Summit 2023, Sheikh Mohammed announced Dubai’s plan for flying taxis. Models are also on display at the RTA’s stand at the World Government Summit 2023. Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the RTA’s potential partners for operating and investing in the infrastructure needed to bring the aerial taxi project to fruition.
