Lahore-based FinTech OneLoad raised $11 million in a Series A led by Sarmayacar and Shorooq Partners, where Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Strategic Investment Fund, its first investment in Pakistan, and existing investor Systems Limited also participated.

OneLoad connects micro-retailers with suppliers, accepts digital payments, and provides working capital options for their business needs through various digital banking and payment services. The company creates new revenue streams for micro-retailers, who in turn help their end customers improve their standard of living and access to financial services. This capital will be used to expand the company’s suite of products and services aimed at Pakistan’s large unbanked population.
