Google released its monthly compliance report for June 2022, revealing that it has removed 6,40,339 content pieces that violated community guidelines.

During the month, the company received 32,717 complaints from Indian users. The complaints are about third-party content on Google’s significant social media intermediary (SSMI) platform that is believed to violate local laws or personal rights, according to the company. Google receives complaints in a variety of categories, including infringement of intellectual property rights and violations of local laws prohibiting certain types of content, including defamation.
