The government has inaugurated the Bharat Startup Ecosystem Registry to consolidate information about all stakeholders within the startup ecosystem across various categories. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal became the first registrant, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting India’s growing startup sector.

“The Registry will serve as a centralized database containing details of all startup ecosystem stakeholders,” stated the announcement. It aims to simplify access and foster collaboration and growth within the ecosystem.

The platform will offer comprehensive information on ecosystem participants, including early-stage entrepreneurs, social impact ventures, and high-growth businesses. This broad inclusion strengthens the overall startup community.

Users will receive a unique ID upon registration and gain access to a personalized dashboard for networking and resource utilization.

“The Registry’s launch coincides with the Startup Mahakumbh festival,” noted the announcement. The festival aims to unite stakeholders and showcase entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation.
