Share via:

The Indian Army’s Army Design Bureau (ADB) and the Drone Federation of India (DFI) have signed an agreement to develop drones for use in Indian Army operations.

The Indian Army hopes to use this to help the country’s drone sector develop indigenous equipment and weaponry. Under the terms of the agreement, the two organisations will develop a roadmap for developing drones, counter-drones, and allied technologies. They will conduct technology research programmes in collaboration with industry veterans, academia, and the armed forces. They will also conduct field trials of such developed drones. ABD is an Indian Army nodal agency. It facilitates R&D activities in collaboration with industry, academia, DRDOs, and DPSUs.
