Jobtech startup, Masai School raised $10 million in Series B led by Omidyar Network India where existing investors including India Quotient and Unitus Ventures with two Indian sports stalwarts, Mithali Raj and Bhaichung Bhutia also participated.
The latest round of funding will allow the company to launch two new course categories while also expanding its flagship “zero-to-one” skilling course in Software Development and Data Analytics. MasaiX., the company’s first up-skilling course, aims to accelerate growth for software developers in India in order to meet demand for tech professionals in Global Capability Centres and Sr. Software Developer roles.
