Fintech Saudi’s second accelerator programme saw participation of 12 startups

The second accelerator programme of Fintech Saudi saw the participation of 12 financial technology startups, which was significantly higher than the first such initiative last year.

Fintech Saudi, an initiative launched in April 2018 by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in collaboration with the country’s Capital Market Authority (CMA), assists entrepreneurs in progressing the development of innovative fintech solutions as well as accessing funding for their ventures. The three winning startups from this year’s accelerator programme, which concluded on Tuesday, were each awarded a SAR50,000 financial grant by Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (Wa’ed), according to SPA.
