Furniture and home décor brand Sunday Design raised $1.5 million in funding from a clutch of family offices, including those of Havells India (QRG Investment & Holdings), SRF Ltd (Kama Group) and coal logistics firm KCT Group, among others.

Sunday Design collaborates with Italian designers to create and sell high-quality furniture. Sunday Design intends to use the new funds to expand its online and offline presence by opening retail stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai, as well as launching an e-commerce platform. The company claims to have grown at a monthly rate of 10% since its inception.
