Woman thrashes Zomato delivery partner, internet demands action

A video of a woman thrashing a Zomato food delivery executive on his way to deliver an order has gone viral. The woman is seen repeatedly beating the delivery agent with her shoe in the video.

The video was uploaded by dj, a Twitter user. He claimed that the video was taken by a bystander while the delivery partner was carrying his order. “Some woman took his order and began hitting him with her footwear,” the caption said. It also stated that the delivery partner was “terrified of losing his job.” The user shared the video on August 16, but did not specify where the incident occurred. In a Twitter thread, the user stated that after learning about the incident, he attempted to contact Zomato customer service.
