MeitY Secretary: MeitY commits vital support to startups

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is committed to providing all necessary support to startups, particularly growth-stage startups, according to Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary of MeitY.

Sharma praised Indian startups for their passion and innovation during a MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) session. “The energy and innovation of Indian startups was commendable,” he added. Representatives from eight startups updated Sharma and other attendees on the type of support they need from the central government to scale their businesses during the MSH session. The startups have also shared their success stories and sought advice from the ministry.
